This is one of my husband's brothers (he has seven of them. And three sisters! I am the luckiest girl in the world to have married into the best and funnest family EVER!). He is following in the footsteps of his older siblings and graduating early in December. So that means we only have a semester left with him at home! Crazy. When I met Daniel he was 11. I have to share this story about him...just to embarass him a little, of one of my favorite memories of 11 year old Daniel.
Michael, older brother, had just shared a witty joke. Everyone at the table laughs. Two seconds later, Daniel repeats witty joke that Michael told verbatim. No one laughs. In fact, some roll their eyes in annoyance. 11 year old Daniel scoffs loudly, then after a moment of reflection announces, "I don't get it! Why is it funny when Michael says it, but not me??"
Ah...the wit wisdom of an 11 year old. Other favorite memories include laughing so hard I was crying when I was WAY too tired playing card games with the family when Daniel was singing songs in different voices. Don't ask, it was late. My kids ADORE Uncle Daniel ("Uncle DEE-noh") and will miss him when he leaves.
But alas...a few more months yet, so no time for goodbyes. :-) Ladies, gotta wait until he's back from his 2-year mission, but after that, hang onto these pictures and make your move. :-)

Chelsea, are you married to Craig? I think we met at Jen and Joe's wedding a couple years ago. Crazy. I love your stuff and the photos you did of D are great!
Wow, D has really grown up. He was pretty little when I first met him too! :) He looks like an "E" family member, but has his own look for sure. Handsome! Great shots.
